This is the offshore forum... it's a lighthearted discussion of everything that guys like... What it is not is not is a place for constant fighting, arguing and other general bitching. There are PLENTY of other sports betting forums filled with bitter, angry people. This will not be one of them...

I understand there are some strong difference of opinions but how you present your argument matters... too many of you are just full out attacking someone else ... too many of you don't know how to have a civil argument... it's made offshore unreadable... seriously.. unreadable

We have forums like the political and rubber room where you can bicker like youre two women who haven't had an orgasm in years and scream until youre blue in the face about how fucking smart you are, but IT WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED IN THE OFFSHORE FORUM...

This is a general warning to all...

I understand that there is some controversial subject matters headlining sports but it's been proven that an open, civil discussion cannot take place here. If ANYONE makes an inappropriate, aggressive post in the offshore you will be banned from the offshore forum for a week... I understand this is extreme but this needs to stop. Take your arguments to the appropriate forums...

Ridiculous, people actually cared and read those threads. Why can't there be a mixture? I can see if it boils over to what your favorite fast food restaurant is. But hot topics like Sterling and racism. Let people have some fun.

It would be a huge mistake if theRX takes the threads that is actually generating traffic and moved them down to the RR or political forum but I have seen therx make huge mistakes before so it would not surprise me.

Wow.

Dead forum comes to life (at least a little) for the first time in 3 or 4 years then everything gets threatened to be moved to the RR.

That would almost be like walmart complaining about too many people in the checkout line on Christmas eve.

Carry on.

youre looking at the numbers of post in that thread which is the same people saying the same thing over and over.... It would push away more new traffic than it would bring...

if i wasn't a mod here I would have just taken a break from the forum. it's unbearable.. and I KNOW i'm not the only one that feel that way either

There is an interesting concept that some people might not know.

If there is a thread that does not interest you or if it makes you mad to read it just simply move over to the next thread.
Pretty simple thing to do.

I understand its not for everybody but I have an honest question.

Once you read a few post from a certain thread you don't like and you get the idea of where a thread is heading whats so difficult about not clicking on that thread anymore?
I just don't understand.

I have 300 TV channels and I assure you there are at least 20 channels playing shit right now that would piss me off but what does that have to do with anything.
All I have to do is change the channel.
I honestly don't get this.

Yea it would suck of we clutter up the offshore forum from 5teams bumping of 10 year old threads.
It would be a travesty if I missed the happy birthday John McEnroe bumped thread.

You're clever. Do you write your own material?

The problem is I shouldn't have to skip through 19 pages of one poster calling another a racist, or a drawn out argument about who is stupider, or richer...in order to read a thread I want to read.

I agree with Defying it was devolving into a completely unreadable shit show.

Here's a concept that people might not know. If you want to engage in a flame war, do it in the rubber room.

Pretty simple thing to do.

I completely disagree.

A Mods job is not to get in the way of posters or decide what they may or may not like or agree with gets moved or deleted. A Mods job is to enhance the forum, not restrict it.

Betall jumps in when needed but never gets in the way of posters shaping and participating in the offshore.
