0-1, -2.40 units. One of those head scratching games I could have lost more on.

Detroit -1 (-117). 2 units. McAllister seems to have completely lost confidence, as evidenced by Terrry Francona's statements after his last debacle vs. Oakland. "Zach needs to realize he is a good pitcher, who has quality pitchers." Translation: He threw batting practice and couldn't get out of the downward spiral once in. Zach M. bass been pitching poorly going back is last 3-4 starts, while Scherzer is making a salary run and showing why HE, not Verlander is the best Tiger starter. Detroit has been amazing on the road, has hit .344 vs. McAllister in the past, and should benefit from a inconsistent Indian attack.

St. Louis -1 (-111) 2 units. Brandon McCarthy has come around somewhat since his horrible start, but still, he has been dreadful on the road the past 2 years, gives up the long ball and generally knows how to lose. Although his 1-6 record is worse than how he has pitched. McCarthy throws a lot of sinkers, and this game will depend on how well the Cardinals lay off the low pitches that generally end up being balls- if allowed to reach the plate. Arizona has only faced Wacha for 16 AB, and I'm still very impressed with how well he handled himself last year in post -season and in September. This -111 line looks like a bargain if you ask me. Arizona's lineup is Paul Goldschmidt and a lot of inconsistency. They aren't terrible on the road, but they have looked terrible vs. tough pitchers like Wacha.
