I found a bad line on prop today. It was a + - issue. The team was supposed to be -140 but they had +140. Very tempting but I reported it instead of betting it.

What would you guys do? Or what have you done in the past? Ever bet a bad line knowingly and hoped to cash it?

best to report it.. sometimes they reward you but I think betting it will turn out be much worse than your hoping freeroll style

Offshore? No. In Vegas? Yes.

A guy at LVH bet $300K on soccer game. Jay gave him the option of taking the Winnings which were like $110K or something or being banned for life. He said show me the money.

There was 2nd half wager between Arkansas State and UALR, ASU outs scores them by 12 in the first 4.5 minutes. It was 2nd half -1 in favor of ASU. They finally pulled the game at the under 4 time out. Couldn't bet more than $500 or they would have yelled for a key. Got down on it 4x. Several others that wager less than $100 or so a game, got down for $500 2x. All the action was completely one-sided on it. Didn't use players card and waited until the book closed and had a friend cashed at the main cage.

You would have just got freerolled if it was not an A+ shop.

They would have waited till after the bet was over then if they play would have won you would get an email saying the play got cancelled due to a bad line.

If the play would have lost they would have let the play stand as is

I have mixed feelings on bad lines.
Is the honest thing to report a bad line? I guess that would depend on the definition of a bad line. Most people "public" look at a line and say that's too good to be true, and they lose.
Gamblers look at certain "bad lines" and say Unload.
So an educated gamblers are truly the ones who get hurt by these "bad lines"

Offshore I hear you'll get banned. Two years ago in Reno, a Casino had a line up on a game that had already ended, a college game. I stayed away, my friend emptied his bank account and bet it and got paid. Sports book manager was mad about it though.

Figured they would give him option of payout and ban or void the ticket?

He was paid then warned not to do it again. They can't cancel a bet after it placed in Vegas, but they can kick you out of the casino after they pay you. I would never do it though. Once was trying to bet a hockey game that should have been -170 but was +170, the ticket writer said I could bet it but I still waited for them to fix it.

I believe in the Vegas this kind of issue is determined by Nevada gaming laws instead of the casino.

You will get paid for sure. However, most properties will give you a payout option and leave or void. Gaming Commission almost uniformly sides with the player on this one.
