Hit the 4 unit play but went 1-3 on the smaller plays. The Indians have gone cold again. They are a mess in that their starting pitching will never hold up to get them a playoff spot.

Boston ML -110. One unit. I don't think lefty Mike Minor has ever pitched in Fenway. The Green Monster messes with a pitcher's usual game plan. The Braves also seem to be slumping a bit as Boston is finally beginning to hit. I think Peavy will rebound from a couple of rough outings. Nothing wrong really.

Toronto -114 ML. One unit. Hate to go against Shields as he is a true warrior/ competitor. But Dickey against this meek hitting, slumping Royals lineup could be an overmatch. The Royals are the polar opposites of the Jays- no power. Have to ride the winning streak with a home team. The Royals have to be feeling less than confident after getting swept by Houston at home.

Seattle/ LAA- over 4 (First 5) -125. Shoemaker gives up runs early before settling down, which is why he is better as a starter than a reliever. Plus he's RHP which Seattle is better against- they have a heavy LH hitting lineup. Maurer has been a disappointment going back to last year. Always has an inning or two early where he blows up. He's only there because Seattle has no one else to start (injuries). Maurer has good stuff, but his command is poor and leaves too many pitches up or in the middle of the plate.

2-1 night. Janssen blowing the save to end the streak vs. KC's weak attack just shows you how unpredictable baseball can be.
