Last year, LVH introduced SuperContest Weekend to give gamblers, handicappers and football fans a place to congregate and talk football. This year's SuperContest Weekend takes place August 23-24 and includes free seminars, a golf outing and welcome reception. Here are the details:
Friday, August 23
● 5 p.m.: Welcome Reception, Ballroom E
● 6 p.m.: Super Handicapping Seminar with top handicappers and past winners, Ballroom E
● Both events are free and open to the public
Saturday, August 24
● 1:30 p.m.: Super Golf Outing, Las Vegas Country Club
● Registration: noon through 1:15 p.m.; Entry fee: $95

● 7 p.m.: Super Reception, Ballroom E
● Reception is free and open to the public
You do not have to be entered into the contest to attend any of the events of SuperContest Weekend. While mixing, mingling and learning about sports betting is great, LVH will up SuperContest Weekend a notch by giving away five free entries (valued at $1,500 each). This writer attended the inaugural SuperContest Weekend seminars last year and had a great time. Besides the free seminars, I was able to meet some of the handicappers, writers and podcasters and look forward to doing the same this year. This event is a great way to kick off football season.
