3-2 Wednesday + about 4.5 units. Should have played Tanaka. I had a feeling the Mariners wouldn't touch him.

Chicago WS -108 ML. One unit. Maybe Max Scherzer is reverting back to his former self, before 2013. Seem like it. He is just very ordinary now. It also seems like the Tigers have lost their mojo. They still have the same players, but like the last 2 years, they can't score in bunches for long stretches at times. Their BP is a mess as usual. I do know that Chris Sale has been in great form, giving up only 6 runs in the past 32 IPs. Not easy in the AL. The White Sox BP is not good, but has shown improvement.

Toronto ML -114. One unit. The Jays have cooled down, but often teams that can hit, heat up again when going on the road. Besides, the Orioles have cooled down too. I'm also not convinced that Gausman will repeat his last performance. He still seems a bit raw. Buehrle has been consistently solid or better all year. Right now, he is the best slow tosser in the majors.

Arizona TT over 4 (-120). 2 units. Arizona has been hitting well in the past 2 weeks, and with power, and now face a Scott Feldman. Feldman seems to be a rent a pitcher type. He'll start out pretty strong, and then fade, and get traded or become a poorly sought after FA. Using his last 5 starts, which is a decent sample size, Feldman has given up 26 runs(some unearned although that tells you something about the Stros D) in just 22 innings. The Astros BP is not as bad as last year, but it's below average. Miley, the D-Back pitcher, can actually hit too.

Atlanta TT over 4.5 (-120) One unit. This is another TT going against a pitcher(Chacin) who is just reeling. Chacin has been pretty awful in Coors, and he like other veteran Rockies pitchers, seemed to be shellshocked by pitching there. A sort of PTSD for pitchers who play in a minor league stadium in thin air. The Rockies held the Braves to 2 last night, but I'm saying it won't happen again. The Rockies BP is one of the worst. Also, as I said in yesterday's post, Atlanta has hit very well in Coors.
