Pat Patterson, a WWE exec and WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, came out publicly as a gay man for the first time in the season finale of WWE reality series “Legends’ House.”

The emotional admission (above) arrived during dinner while reflecting on his career in the wrestling business alongside seven other “Legends,” including Roddy Piper, Jimmy Hart, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Hillbilly Jim.

“Sitting here tonight, I'm going to say something that I would never want to say publicly,” Patterson said. “But being here with you guys, for once in my life, I'm going to be me now. I survived all this being gay.”

Patterson, the WWE's first Intercontinental Champion, said he had been keeping that part of his life secret for “50-some years.”

“I had a friend with me for 40 years, and I lost him, because he had a heart attack, and I end up alone,” Patterson said. “It's tough, guys. It's tough.”

Fellow “Legends” were brought to tears, and comforted Patterson as he revealed his sexuality.

“I gave my life to the business, I don't regret nothing,” Patterson said after the fact. “For the rest of my life, I want to be happy.”

Patterson is now the second WWE personality to come out of the closet. In 2013, WWE superstar Darren Young told TMZ cameras he was gay and “very happy.”

This is nothing new. He came out as Gay many years ago, and it was openly talked about on WWE Television. This is just trying to make the new WWE Network Newsworthy and must see. The WWE Legends house show was also taped and completed a couple of years ago, but that was way after Patterson initially came out.
I thought his big reveal would be something really important and new, that he would finally admit there was no tournament in Rio Di Janeiro in the 70's that created the Inter Continental title.

I don't know but there were rumors.

He also came up with the wrestler Red Rooster. Does the name make sense now lol?

Also he's the same asshole who came up with the idea of giving Dusty Rhodes polka dots.

Lost all respect for Hacksaw a few years ago........As some of you know I have a handicapped son (learning disabled)..The social group he belongs to went to see a local wrestling show where they have one or two "headliners" to boost ticket sales....Mr Duggen was the featured performer at the show....To my son and his friends in the group these big name guys are larger than life....I know business is business but the kids were charged $15 each to get an autograph and a hand shake from Hacksaw...I felt that the kids may have been exploited since these guys are their heros.....If you or I want to meet Hacksaw that is fine we pay our money and meet the guy but to charge special needs kids I felt was a bit much..

These guys are broke. They get worse deals than anyone. Vince makes money off them and they get ripped off in return.

I found it more entertaining that the sign said "WWE Superstar". Not only did he not wrestle when he was in Diabase's corner but he never even talked which is what the good managers do best.
