Argentina most likely wins but with the way Iran drops everyone back and plays defense I wouldn't rule out a tie. Argentina had issues scoring against a lesser Bosnian squad in their opener that employed a similar strategy. Argentina lucked into a goal in the opening minutes and eventually Bosnia had to give up on their strategy because they were trailing, but with Iran coming off a tie in their World Cup opener they could very well stall out a tie with a similar game plan and better luck.

William Hill (at least the US side) and all vegas book's soccer lines, for that matter, are so juiced they're rarely worth betting. Cantor has Argentina at -1300 right now, and +2200 for Iran. It's +2677 at 5dimes for Iran.

Argentina -800 is what my local has, which is way too risky IMO. It's highly unlikely, but not inconceivable that this game could end in a draw. Iran plays good, disciplined defense. They're going to pack it in for all 90 mins and showed they are capable of doing so successfully. I doubt they'll attempt more than two shots all game, if that many. Argentina could probably put a dead cat in goal and still end up not getting scored on.
In other words, if this game was played eight times, I think Iran could draw more than once. No value here. Pass...save your money for the USA +0.5 on Sunday.
