I'm going to Panama for the LSOP!!!!

So the run continues. Dominated that satellite pretty much the whole way and earned a package to LSOP in Panama in September.

Hey I know you say you are going there but did you find out what the cash value of this ticket is?
poker stars use to give you the option of talking cash value when you win something like that. Was just curious what you could sell that for.

but if I were you I would certainly go

Saw people selling them on 2+2, seems like the going rate is about 1k.

No way am I selling it unless for some reason I absolutely can't go. My goal was to qualify for the trip so I could go down there and make some noise. If I just wanted the cash I would have just played a 50+5 MTT, it would have paid a lot more than 1k.

How often do you get a chance to take a concrete step towards your dream career?

Saw that the package was valued at 1750, although seems like more to me. 850 for the tourney + airfare to Panama + 8 nights hotel has gotta be well over 2500.

Anyway last year I saw people tried to sell them for 1500 and then people came into the thread undercutting. I think a lot of the poker sites run lots and lots of satellites so tons of people end up with packages that don't intend on playing. Supply and demand I suppose.

I'm going to Panama for the LSOP!!!!
