it was cheesy but legitimately one of the worst is a bit of an overstatement, off the top of my head Southland tales, 8mm, Soldier, Jack and Jill, I only saw part of the 2nd one but I am willing to say based on that half hour that all of the twilights could fit the bill as worst, superman quest for peace...wanted could win the oscar compared to these turds.

There's a reason Wanted is on lists of worst movies of the 21st century, especially with that cast. How Mcavoy went from Last King of Scotland to that is beyond me.

Although I don't believe Wanted to be a classic by any means, it does receive a 71% on rotten tomatoes. I think that's a great way to judge a movie because it pools all the critics opinions into one score. I'm not sure how familiar you are with rotten tomatoes but a 71% is a really solid rating. Very difficult to call it one of the worst of the 21st century when at least 75% (a conservative estimate) of movies are well below that score.

I work in the film industry so I tend to watch a little of everything that comes out, so when we're talking literally the worst, I was just trying to say there are worse. Wanted was just a silly waste of time but hardly the worst to me, maybe your expectations were a little high based on the cast you mentioned, afterall it's a movie about hitmen with special powers who take their kill orders from a sewing machine that talks to morgan freeman, to have any expectations of good was asking for a letdown lol
