i know there was a thread last year where people pointed out Bad/Good Spots for teams due to situations ( Travel, Byes, Let Down spot, Sandwich). i dont see one yet mad for this season and if there is someone just delete this thread. Here are a few early spots that stick out to me

Aug 30 OSU goes to Baltimore to play Navy, this is always a tough task to play vs an option team and they have Va Tech coming to Columbus the following week

Sept 6 Colorado goes across the country to play UMass between their Rival game vs CSU and a Conference home game against Zona St

Sept 6 Penn St coming off a revenge game vs UCF in Ireland, hosts Akron the following week without a bye....seems like a terrible spot for penn st there

Sept 12 Toledo, playing their 3rd game of the season to Cincinnati while this is the opener for the Bearcats

Looking to hear what others think of these spots and im sure there are a bunch of other good situations that can help us win money

One game that I will be watching is Tennessee's second game against Arkansas State. The Vols will play at Oklahoma the following week. Not saying Arkansas State will beat Tennessee...but could give them a good scare if Tennessee is looking ahead toward the Sooners.

Arkansas State has another good team this year and the Vols better be careful.

Another game that has caught my attention is North Dakota State at Iowa State on August 30. I haven't seen a line yet but wouldn't be surprised if NDST. beat the Cyclones straight up. Keep in mind NDST. has been the FCS champions the past three years and they are loaded again...especially on defense where 6 starters return. This has been the top scoring defense in the FCS the past three years.

If Iowa State is looking ahead to Kansas State the following week...they will be in deep trouble.

If it is a lined game I wouldn't be surprised if NDST is favored. Lots of questions surrounding this game makes it a tough bet. Something tells me NDST is going to recede to mediocrity now that Craig Bohl has moved on. But it may not be until after this year. There is no way ISU will be looking ahead to KSU when the team they are playing beat KSU last year in their opener. But there is also no way of knowing how well Mangino's new offense is going to preform right out of the gate. Right now this is a pretty iffy game. I usually lay off ISU first games. You never know what your going to get with the Clones.
