Flat betting or varying bet size?

if you do a % of bankroll and increase as bankroll increases then I consider that flat betting.

if you like a play better and go more or do a "unit" style bet then I consider that varying.

I will let you slide as flat betting if you only have 2 bet sizes. Normal and action with action being 10%-20% of the "normal" bets.

I do actual flat betting...... as in the bet size stays the same for a particular type of bet for an entire season. Then I reset the bet size at the beginning of each season depending on bankroll and results etc. I have tried Kelly Criterion betting but I have found that just guarantees that my biggest bets are always the losers.

I think u do it the right way.

Unfortunately when u dont have a good enough win %, your only hope is to vary the amounts and pray your winners are worth more than your losers.

I will flat bet kindof,,,

after a loss, I will usually up it VIG plus a tinge more,,, so on a 3000 bet, I will bet 3500 after a loss,, but all in all, progressions are such a slippery slope I am against them,,

I have Wager sizes already set in my head. If I "Like" the play I bet "A", if I "Love" the play I wager "B"
Only time I go outside of that is if I Love a Play and I get some kind of Info on the game, then I will go to "B+"

betall,, not to put you on the spot,,, but from a to b,,, do you go a full martingale? or 20% increase?

I won't use martingale , I don't believe in it.

The 20% sounds about right.
