oh my fkn god, everyone knows the real reason why soccer doesnt make it here in the states,,<< its Money,,, and all of the RETARDED IDIOTIC radio guys continue to ask the same bullshit question,,,

can we embrace soccer?

what really shatters my personal reality, is that we give womens nba time and a channel,, Soccer would do great as a prime time sport, Noone wants to back it because of advertising,, they cant put up enough ads,,, so the people in power dont give a shit,,, the owners make more revenue off of a bullshit crappy disgusting wnba game with less than a .00002 share televised, than they would with a 2-3-4 share televised soccer match,,

It's like asking if Olympic athletes should get more attention when it's not the olympics. No. We care because they've successfully marketed the World Cup to tie into patriotic pride. We care about the World Cup because it's team america. If it was LA vs DC we have never cared, we still don't care, and we wont care tomorrow. just like the olympics. We really don't care about cross country skiing, swimming ect... we care about USA being better than X country.

That seems to be the case and I don't see nothing wrong with it... I guess they could change the MLS to make it more interesting and you guys need some "clasicos" to awake interest. Teams that hate each other to the bones.

but be serious,,, defy,,, if they started marketing soccer,, and created a market,,, you cannot disagree that you would watch it,, and enjoy it more than wnba,, that is the most worthless of a pathetic sport on the planet,

Same example is MMA,,,, everyone knows for a fact it is 1000000 times more entertaining than boxing,,, but the reason why its not prime time is because the guys that are in POWER dont have a piece of the pie,,, So it has to go the LONG road and the public has to demand for it to make its way up,,, MMA would destroy anything it would go against,,, except for maybe sunday night football,, but just as with soccer there isnt enough money in it for the tv guys to invest,,

go take a drive on Sunday morning, and you will see thousands of kids playing football, European football in any suburb in the USA

I believe that is because it's an all inclusive sport for kids. You won't see them playing much after maybe twelve years old where the good athletes are weeded out
