Why are people complaining about playing offshore?

Made a 4-figure w/d request Tuesday for a free check.

Received the check Friday afternoon.

Took it to the bank today and put it in my account.

Done and done. So what's the issue?

What book?

Its a PITA depositing and withdrawing at a WU shop, the fees are a killer also. If you have a credit union, checks are not a biggie. Chain banks are a problem, and you never know when the processor gets shut down and the check bounces.

You would have a much harder time with an international check thru Chase or a national bank. They would hold it for up to 3 weeks.

im not complaining i just said dont become a bonus whore for the crazy type of rollovers ect.it just another way the books holds your money so you can lose it.....

not true in my experience....

I had my credit union tell me they will not take Canadian checks. In fact my RX check I have to go to BBT because they are the only one that dont make it difficult.

We were spoiled by the Neteller and Instadebit days. It was sick. If I wanted to make a nice size bet I could move the money from my checking account into any number of offshore books and then when the game won cash out immediately after the game. I still play primarily offshore but moving the money in and out is much slower.

All I know is that I ran up some serious balances offshore, only to piss it back... If i could have had it the next day in my bank account like the old days, that never would have happened.. Knowing the hoops and check issues, I always kept letting theaccount go, which leads to my demise..

I guess playing online screws with my mindset. Ultimately it's my fault I pissed it back, but I know if i could have the cash quick and painless, I would have had a better outcome.

perhaps im just better off with a good local which seems tough to come by.

I think the issue is that your experience isn't the norm. Glad it worked out for you.

Still remember my buddy requesting a check during World Series and not having funds in bank until december..

To answer the OP, people are complaining because they can't win and want to blame someone other than themselves. If only they had Neteller and Pinnacle, they'd be winning.

Come on man. You're honestly blaming the book for you not having discipline and pissing your money back to them before they deposit to you? That's a little bush league don't you agree?
