After Todd Hollandsworth's 19 HR season in 2000, I bet a friend he would hit 40+ playing in Colorado that year.

He hit 11

If he gets hurt they do fade, and his size makes sense for an injury. Not an awful prediction, but Russ is pretty damn good about awareness. Similar to Brees. Him and Kaep will get hurt at some point though. Kaep because of his running and Russ because of his size.

Hahahahah touche'. On a side note one of my high school investments was registering carlospena.com who I was sure was the next superstar (he was in AAA at the time). That one never worked out but I got paid a decent profit on jkrowling.com... mostly after she threatened to sue me and I had to settle.

I bet my buddy last year $500 that the Seahawks wouldn't make the playoffs

Still have some of his rookie cards saved away, as well as Todd Van Poppel, Ben Grieve, and Brien Taylor.

I have had many, but most current one: last year Bynum would do well on the Sixers and they would make a deep playoff run

How about that bet we had, where you bet me that the 2008 Celtics wouldn't make the playoffs, and they ended up winning an NBA championship?:money8::toast:

That Tim Couch would be great.

I was young then so basically made my calls strictly off talent. The franchise as a whole was a complete mess with poor coaching staff and personnel. Don't think any of those coaches are coaching in NFL any more. Had a guy last name of Palmer as head coach.
