Any tips, been a while since I've been....

Mostly looking for tips on how to get a cheaper hotel. Currently paying $1,000+ for 2 Nights, 2 Rooms at the Tropicana... Seems ridiculously expensive.

Hotels.com and they had a rate of $120 a night (of course it would depend on the day)

damn that does sound expensive. I just took my wife to the water club at the borgata for 2 nights and it was only $400.

I would ask for a complimentary upgrade while checking in and slip them a $20/$50 see if they can upgrade you to a suite.

A summer weekend in AC is going to cost you that much. It is another reason why AC is failing spending big bucks before you eat, drink or gamble.

That's what? $250 a night per room? Split it between two dudes, not too bad.

If it was the Borgota or Revel I would be okay with it. but the Tropicana. I dont know. I just think about it as value, and I feel like I'm being bent over...

then again, I never pay full price for a room. I use priceline name your own price and hot deals

Make sure you make your way up to Revel...when we went there were a ton of bachelorette parties and the atmosphere was great. I didn't get to do to the clubs because I was on a heater and didn't leave the BJ tables all night but the views were excellent

If it were any other city I would probably agree, but AC?....last time I was there was 4-5 years ago and I wasn't impressed enough to consider paying that. It's the point of it. Why enable them to charge even close to that? There are many, many more rooms than customers.
