I agree they very well could, but the looks of that schedule after that they may lose the next 14 lol

I can't see them winning the first two games and at best maybe 3 games the whole season. Upgrade of talent or not, they are still the worst team in the league.

The only possible wins I can possibly see are:

Home vs Houston and Buffalo and either a win at home or on the road vs Kansas City.

I can't make a case at all for any other game period.

For those with the thought process on "over" who are they beating to get them to 5 wins?

Maurice Jones-Drew adds a nice flex pack to the backfield. Schaub could improve if he plays with a chip on his shoulder. James Jones is a big name but probably near the end of best to good days. It all comes down to the Raiders coaching staff to utilize these weapons in the right mix. I say they do. Over.

I'm not sure counting wins or losses before the season begins is the top priority when putting together your win total props. Some of these so called good teams the Raiders have to play this year will be down... happens every year..Houston & Atl were suppose to be top teams last year, they ended up as two of the worst....

All this talk of improved talent, other teams dropping off from last year. Yet you still haven't told me who they are beating.

There is a huge talent disparity between this team and almost everyone they have scheduled this year.

Are they beating New England or Miami? Are they beating San Francisco or Arizona? Are they beating Denver or San Diego?

Who are they beating to get to 5 wins? I've laid out my vision of who they beat, so give me the 5 games or more they win.

Nobody can predict who each team is going to beat at the start of the season... How would that work each year when you have teams that are suppose to be good and teams that play a lot better then predicted ?..ATL & Houston come to mind.... To me, Oakland looks better then last year talent wise..... a lot more margin for error going over 4 1/2 then under 4 1/2

The more things change the more they remain the same.....all of a sudden over 5 doesn't look so good.....talent is there but things like injuries and bad coaching get in the way....really thought Allen was coming on as a coach....
