Associated Press
An Ohio man who was a dealer at a western Pennsylvania casino has been charged with giving gamblers tips on how to win at the roulette table.

The Washington Observer-Reporter reported that state police filed charges against 56-year-old Robert M. Valle of Wintersville, Ohio, accusing him of telling a confidential informant to place wagers on certain numbers at the Meadows Casino to increase the odds of winning.

Valle allegedly told the informant he helped other patrons win money at the casino. He’s charged with misdemeanor counts of violating gaming acts by tricking or defrauding the table and conspiracy.

Valle was sent a summons. No attorney was listed on court papers, and he couldn’t be located for comment. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 15.

WTF. How is this cheating? I guess dealers can control the ball to some degree if they deal the game enough

If he has a good lawyer, he will get off. If he's helping players, doesn't that mean that the dealer can manipulate the wheel to the advantage of the house?

If so, its crooked & the casinos should be sued

Only way I've ever been helped by a dealer was during spring break about 15 years ago I was down at a shitty hotel casino in the Bahamas. I would go down every morning and play a $10 hand of blackjack. If i won I used the $10 winnings to buy breakfast, if I lost I went right to the beach. I'd go to the same guy every morning, buy the 3rd day the guy knew what I was doing, and he started dealing the cards and shoeing them really fast, and he'd pay me out regardless of the outcome. Good guy, I appreciated that as a poor college kid.

"tips on how to win at the roulette table"....... huh? There are no tips on how to win at a Roulette table unless the table is somehow rigged in which case the casino is the one with a very big problem. This story does not make any sense at all.
