Has garnered sound speed figures in dirt sprint races in the past. Lately Goncalves has been on fire which may give the edge to this gelding. I LIKE BEER - Has been racing admirably and has among the strongest speed in the race for today's distance. This gelding looks good for this race since Brown has a very strong win percent with horses going this distance. JODAVI - Has a very solid shot here if you like back class. Ran a solid last race.

I think WHAT NEXT is a very good choice. This animal has to be in good condition coming back to the track so soon. Has run very well when moving a turf route race. Has formidable speed figures and has to be considered for a wager in this race. SAMMY'S CHOICE - Had one of the top Speed Figures of this group in her last contest. Looks competitive for the conditions of this contest today, showing solid figs in turf route races recently. JOYFUL CHEERS - Ought to be given a chance here on the basis of the figures in the speed section alone. Newell has her trained solidly to break promptly out of the starting gate.

STARSHIP ROMEO - Trainer Shilling moves this animal down the ladder based on class to face a weaker class today. Look for a good effort in this race. Lets try to beat the chalk with this gelding. Just missed last out, but ran a decent race. MARCHING TUNE - Sanchez brings him back again. I advise you stay with this live horse. 68-77-80 are last three speed ratings. Improving each time out is something he should do again right here. ZIP ZONE - This gelding usually does his best running late. Look for him last down the backstretch early in the race and flying down the lane on the tiring speed horses.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 DO THE MATH (ML=7/5), #3 CLEANSED (ML=4/1),

DO THE MATH - A pattern of deteriorating speed figures 98/89/24 for this questionable contender. Just can't wager on this less than sharp equine. Didn't show me anything in the last race or on March 19th. Could be tough for this animal to beat this group off of that last speed rating. Unlikely to improve enough to run a figure close to today's class figure, so put him on the vulnerable contenders list. CLEANSED - Nice race on Jun 4th at Mountaineer, but the fact that there are no workouts since has to make one a little worried.

(1) ROSE RUN JERIAH has some breaking issues but is usually raced well up close to the pace when he stays trotting.

(6) CAPTAIN SCRUFFY dropped and popped last start and will look to repeat at the same level. (4) GLIDED TOWARDS ME disappointed last out as the heavy favorite and will offer low value again; use caution. (2) AMAZING SUZY mare makes her third start back off a long layoff and has been competitive.

(7) THAT WAS YOU filly gets a positive driver change and could have the most ability in the inexperienced field. (4) FERRISWHEEL JUNKIE impeccably bred gelding has been facing much tougher and should find this level to his liking. In a field with few contenders (3) FEATURE MATCHUP has flashed much more ability than his last two starts and one of his prior good efforts would beat this field. Race 1

(7) CELESTIAL LADY comes from the Moreau barn and has posted a pair of convincing efforts. (2) MASSMIMA draws inside and appears ready for her career debut for trainer Dustin Jones. (8) WINEM has shown a lot of versatility so far in her young career and continues to improve with each qualifier.

Race 2

(2) JLS TOO HOT TAJ draws inside this week and continues to trot home in quick speed. She'll offer a low price in her second career start. (5) MASSIVE AFFAIR comes from the McIntosh barn and has been a game second and third in each of her two qualifiers. (9) MAXY GEN will need to overcome post 10, but comes from the Beaver barn, which is excellent with young trotters.

Race 3

(8) DEWY TAKE A SELFIE has been praised upon by her connections all winter and qualified well last week. (2) TAKE ACTION draws inside and trotted home very strong in last weeks qualifying session for trainer/driver Jones. (9) MOON DANCE enjoys leaving the gate and comes from a top barn in Durand.

Race 4

(8) MARCO DE VIE raced in the Gold Series last week and faces a much easier field. (7) VIP BAYAMA comes from top connections and is a perfect one-for-one to start the season. (6) REGAL BABE comes from the McNair barn and has missed the board once from eight starts this season. He's a logical option for the triactor.

Race 5

(3) SUPERBOWL SUNSHINE continues to drop time with each qualifier, draws inside and is ready for her first career start. (8) HAPE shows a lot of speed in her lone qualifying effort this season and comes from the Rekila barn. (7) TYRONE ZOEY has all kinds of speed to offer and comes from Hall of Famer McIntosh's barn.

Race 6

(1) PLAY AT WYNN gets the rail and was a convincing winner last week in this class. (4) PRECIOUS CAMMILL gets a much better post tonight and may offer a price. (3) BEST RISQUE was my top pick last week in this class at 21-1, but finished second. She's a good option again for the triactor.

Race 7

(6) ARQUE HANOVER qualified sharply in 1:55 4/5 in his latest and looks well ready for his career debut. (3) KONA KID draws inside and is fresh off a 1:55 3/5 qualifying win. (8) ST LADS GOLIATH continues to drop time in each qualifying effort and has displayed a lot of versatility.

Race 8

(9) IDEALBEACH HANOVER raced in the Grand Circuit last season and won his qualifier convincingly by 22 lengths. He's heavily staked this season and we'll find out what he's made of. (5) TEX was pacing up a storm in last week's contest from tenth-to-fourth. That sets him up well in here. (3) NAKED CITY won this event last week and finds himself with a good post. He's a good option for the triactor.

Race 9

(9) WARRAWEE QUINCE comes out of the Menary barn, qualified sharply and Jamieson will be in the bike. (1) ABAZABA HANOVER gets the rail and posted back-to-back winning qualifiers. (5) STAY IN TOUCH draws well, continues to drop time and comes from the McIntosh barn.

Race 10

(7) BODY BALANCE comes from the Maxwell barn, drops in class and shows 1:54 speed, which should be quick enough to win this event. (9) DELCREST JULIAN drops out of the Preferred level and should be a main threat in this class. (1) OPEN ALL DOORS draws inside and has hit the board in each of his last three starts.

Race 11

(3) SWORD OF THE SPIRIT closed very well in his latest, comes from the O'Sullivan barn and gets McNair back aboard.
