You make the call.

Deep in the 5k guaranteed at 5imes, 45 people left (top 36 make the money). I have 22k chips, slightly above average stack. Chip leader of the whole thing is on my left with about 50k.

Blinds are 350/700

I pick up KK in early position and make it 2100, villain flats me, all others fold

At this point I put him on something like QJ or KJ, nothing too good, because he's been splashing around a lot and I think he would have 3 bet something better.

Flop comes off 6 6 4 rainbow

I shove 19k into a 5k pot. Deliberate overbet in case he has AQ or something, or he might even call with a mid pair.

He SNAP calls me with KQ off.

Turn Q, river Q.

So the question, aside from how is my computer still functioning after taking that beat, is...any chance this guy can see the cards that are coming? How else on Earth can you justify that call? !<<)

Probably thought you were trying to steal the pot with that over bet.

Or he just might be drunk.

That's what I am now thinking.

It's got to be one of three things.

He knew the cards that were coming
He pressed the wrong button
He hates money

He might not be a great player, but maybe he thought your overbet was you just trying to steal the pot. Doubt he knew the cards coming. Even though he is probably like 5 % (who knows) - it wouldn't be math if he never sucked out on you

When I play cash games, I make calls that piss people off. Everyone plays different, everything has different value to different people.

The odds were actually about 3 out of 1000

That's the thing, even if I WAS just trying to steal the pot, the guy can't even beat ace high...that's what I don't get.

It's not like he had a bluff-catcher type of hand. He had absolutely nothing that couldn't even beat a bluff. And he snap called half his chips with it late in a tournament.

KQ to an inexperienced player with 664 flop might seem like a good hand. He was betting on a K or Q turn or river. Idiot call, but people aren't that smart so not surprising

You didn't mention suits, was there a flush draw?

If there was a flush draw, he's 34%... though I'm guessing that if he had a flush draw on the flop, you would have mentioned it.

Well, if he had a back-door flush draw, he'd be at 5%. But yeah, without a backdoor flush, he's at .3% .... sick. Seems like I see a lot of shit like that on 5dimes.

No FD, it was a rainbow flop as I mentioned. Not even a BDFD. Sigh

If he had a 4 flush I could actually understand the call, even though it is still mathematically incorrect unless he is counting his 2 overs as 6 outs. But at least it would be understandable.

Did you at least call him a f**cking donkey in the chat box? That's what I would have done... Lol.
