What a horrific and boring show...I would think ESPN would have enough programming available to keep this off the air..

+2 Without a doubt, the worst radio show period. Not the least bit entertaining unless you like listening to rednecks calling in and asking what Nick Saban ate for breakfast this morning.

I don't get it He never played sports, looks like Mr Wimple but because if his SEC and train wreck callers he is knocking down 1/2 a mil with espn now instead if a small town radio station

I didn't think anyone could be as bad as Dan Patrick, but I was wrong.. I predict this show will not see September...

It will not make it to September because the show
will move to the SEC Network at the end of August.

The show has a cult like following in the South and
will thrive on the SEC Network. Right now it looks like
Paul is really nervous but once he settles down and becomes
comfortable being on TV you will see he is one of the
best interviewers in the business. You just have
to ignore all of the redneck callers.

Its an acquired taste type thing.
The redneck callers are hilarious.
Its like the sports version of the Jerry Springer show.

The callers make this show.

If you remember the guy who called in a radio show and admitted to poisoning the trees at Auburn because of the guy that put a Cam Newton jersey on Bear Bryants statue that was on the Paul Finebaum show.

He has idiot callers on his show like that everyday. Its funny as shit listening to these rednecks.

Have better things to do then listen to rednecks call from the south.. Besides, he's flat out boring for most of the show

Haven't seen or heard the new show on ESPN, but I assume it isn't much different than it was years ago riding through Alabama at times hearing it.....Finebaum knows the Alabama culture is fanatical on another level regarding college football so he just highlights this by letting them calling in and letting them make the show while he just sits back and tries to stir the pot up.....

Even last year I was in a remote Alabama town getting gas and everyone of the cars there had the Auburn game on blasting it and just assumed I was an Auburn fan too since I was in Auburn territory as they were literally living and dying with each play...Its definitely on another level in the entire state of college football in Alabama....As some have told me there are only two seasons in Alabama (Regular Season and Pre-Season)

I'll never understand getting this worked up over a school I didn't even go to, or like most of these nuts have never even been on campus.

I haven't seen this show on the ESPN networks this week... pretty sure the rest of the nation outside of the south turned it off pretty quick...SEC network can have this programming if they want..

Finebaum has a great radio show, that talks 95% college football. If cfb is your #1 sport, you'll love the show. His weekly interviews with Danny Sheridan are must listens in the fall. He is a good interviewer.

I admit the TV show has looked awkward. ESPN should have given the set more of a radio studio feel, not a TV studio.
