Played Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em for the first time last week

Was in Deadwood South Dakota of all places (talk about small casinos) and to kill some time played this game. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I don't know the next time I will again but had a good time and turned $500 into about $1200 in a few hours. Yes got lucky and some good cards but got bored playing BJ so moved over to this game.

For those that have played it before I didn't ever bet the trips bet or the progressive but everyone else at the table did.

I play only when I can find the high hand bonuses. Getting Dealt AA, KK, etc...

Back in the day, we used to go to the casino and play ultimate holdem for hours!! The only table game I've ever played where you can last hours and go on some solid winning streaks. That and Pai Gow.

I used to play online maybe 10 years ago but simply don't have the time anymore. I've played "real" poker in Vegas probably 3 times now and not to sound shallow but I can't stand the poker crowd, biggest bunch of dbag degenerates I've ever come across. Half the table usually knows each other, the smokers, the guys with stories of winning 10 grand in one hand (and we are playing 1/2 no limit), etc.

Just can't take it. Would rather play locally with some buddies. From my limited experience usually the people at this game are there just to have fun and drink. That and everyone playing against the dealer.

Fun game but worst odds in the casino.

I played it once.

Not only are the odds horrible but the people that play it use awful strategy on top of that.
