Does anybody else avoid fantasy football so it doesn't influence your handicapping?

I've been avoiding fantasy football for about 4-5 years straight because I don't want it influencing my NFL betting. Anyone else do this?

My fear is, for example, I will love a team one week but I REALLY need the other teams QB to put up huge points for my fantasy team. This might make me lay off a winning bet. Or worse, it might sway me to bet the opposite side because of the false pride I put behind my fantasy roster.

I love fantasy football but it doesnt affect my betting at all.

I always rather win a bet than one week in fantasy. Unless I was in a $2k league, 1 win in fantasy pales in comparison to a single bet

I never had the passion for fantasy football........my brother, 2 cousins & a few friends play fantasy.

I always wondered if it messed with their head.......the people I know that play fantasy don't spend any time capping games.

I stay far away from fantasy football.

When the prize for winning first place in my fantasy league is about half of my average wager on a single NFL game...

Umm, no, it doesn't influence my handicapping one iota. I view fantasy as a small season-long running prop bet. It amazes me how seriously some people take their leagues

Much more about pride than money in my own experience
