Has anyone else noticed this?

i turn to Sportscenter for a recap on the days sports. It's nice to be able to see the majority of what happened in today's sports in 30 minutes.

However, the recent trend is that they will show lengthy post game press conferences.

They used to do it only after championship games. Now they do it for everything. Random baseball games, Paul George's injury, etc.

just show me highlights and give me news. Put the press conferences in espnnews or elsewhere.

What happens when you stretch a 30 minute show like it once was to an hour show. Summertime is the low for sports, so they have to fill with something

my biggest problem with sports center is that they've morphed into your typical media outlet, looking for some gotcha moment, stirring the pot, selling some narrative they want to sell

I loved them when they just reported sports, now they act more like some opinionated talk show

I guess with all their networks and radio, they have to fill the air, but that doesn't mean I have to like it
