After 4 Straight Winning Days we Go for the 5th Straight Winning Day! Those words may look very familiar as we have had these winning streaks throughout this MLB Season. I am hoping for a 50+ Unit Winning Season once the season comes to an end, but I am certainly happy with a Winning Season.
Why I Don't Parlay
I updated yesterday's thread with a parlay I made with Free Money my book offered me. It was a 4 Team Parlay and just like the last time my Book offered me a Bonus Bet and I made a parlay (5 Teamer last time), we hit all selections except 1! I only played a parlay because it was very little money they gave me so I figured what the hell? I never play parlay's with my actual money because IMO I think they are "Sucker Bets". Yeah sure they payout is nice, but Books don't just give away money and the odds are truly stacked against you, hence why the payout is nice. Yeah sure you might hit a few every now and then, but I know I could never be a profitable Long Term bettor making consistent parlay wagers. I'm more of a numbers driven guy that would rather make 2 single wagers, as opposed to combining 2 plays into a parlay. In the long run, the ROI will be much higher and so will the winning probability. I'm not knocking the very very few who make a living off of playing parlay's, it's just not advantageous or profitable in my eyes in the Long Term.
Football is Here!
Today is the 1st day of the NFL Preseason and it will be a breath of fresh air to watch some pro football. To be honest, I hardly watch much of the Preseason and I do not make any Preseason wagers. I'm more of a numbers driven guy and it simply doesn't suffice in the Preseason. I commend those who make profitable Preseason wagers but I personally just wait until the Regular Season begins.
