Record as of 8/4/14: 15-4 (+12.80)

Cobb, the 26 year old right hander, is 3-0 with a 1.31 ERA and 24 K's over his last 3 outings. Since the departure of Price, Cobber has taken over as the ace of this staff. Samardzija has been pretty much lights out since coming to Oakland. He has a filthy 2.83 ERA. Generally, over his career, Samardzija hasn't received a lot of run support. I honestly think this total should be set at 6.5 and I'll gladly play the Under for 2U on this generous # (this could drop by game time, so I'm going to take it nice and early).

This will be my 1 and only play on this lonely Monday. I should be off from work for the next few days too cuz I gotta go get my bottom left wisdom tooth pulled. It's been causing me a ton of pain last few days. I gotta get it done so I can go to Detroit this Friday for my friend's wedding. For those of you who have had experience getting their wisdom teeth pulled, please share your thoughts/tips. Will I be able to go on Friday? Most importantly, will I be able to party? =)

Let's cash this UNDER...

Rays/A's UNDER 7 (-110)(2.20 to win 2.00)

Vark -- I had mine pulled out 25 years ago. None of them were impacted, which made a huge difference. I had a gum that got a slight infection, so they pulled them out immediately. That was a Friday, and I was bartending on Saturday night. Face was puffy, but I felt fine. The dissolvable stitches that you will have are annoying as hell for the next week or so...constantly poking at the sides of your tongue.

My experience was not a bad one, realistically. It sounds like you're only having one pulled. I just hope it's not impacted for your sake!

Good luck

Don't smoke any cigarettes or anything else for that matter for at least a week. You can infect the area where the tooth was pulled and its not an enjoyable experience. GL Vark

I know I said only 1 play for today. When I saw the line this morning, it was Tigers -130. This line has dropped in my favor and I can't resist playing it for big. I just like my chances with the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner vs an average arm like McCarthy. Tigers always give Scherzer run support too. I'll drop 2U on this and I'll take my chances with the MUCH better pitcher.

Tigers ML (-115)(2.30 to win 2.00)

Dude, I had mine done a year ago (still a youngling but already a gambling degenerate. Lol.). I had all 4 pulled out at the same time. Wasn't able to attend my Masteral classes for a week since my face puffed up and I suffered severe halitosis for a week as well because the lower left wisdom tooth had been impacted and had to be crushed then pulled out, leading to a fairly deep wound in that area.

All in all, pretty harmless but I wish that your teeth aren't impacted so you won't suffer what I suffered as well.

Dry socket is what that's called, you don't want that.

Just rinse your mouth out with warm salt water a couple times daily and for sure before you go to bed and/or get some Colgate Peroxyl Rinse, you'll be fine

Sorry about the Tigers play guys. Should've known better with this awkward line movement. You learn from your mistakes...that's all I can say. Congrats to Yankees backers.

I must be on one hell of a delay as there is only 1 out in the top of the 9th

I can't believe McCarthy is gonna win again! Quite a difference when you actually have a decent team behind you. Nice win for the Yanks tough hit at the window. Let's own that Angels and Rays plays!

No delay. I was trying for a reverse jinx. Clearly, it was unsuccessful.

Ya McCarthy is actually winning with the Yanks. I didn't know this (wish I did before the game), but he's 3-0 with Yanks and they've won ALL 4 games he's pitched with them. He just needed that change of scenery. Have always liked him too and pissed my White Sox couldn't develop him better. Kid has so much potential.

This stupid game had to go into extras....
Why couldn't the Rays just win 2-1?

Tigers lose and we lose -2.30U there. A's go UNDER and gain +2.00U there. Overall, only lost -0.30 Units. I'd rather have these kinds of losses and win big. Let's have a POSITIVE TUESDAY.
