If you find a Iphone........

I think it's a Iphone5c?

I don't have a charger for it, the battery was at 7% when I got it and no one called so I could answer and find out who it was. They also had the screen locked. So, I call Uber and they tell me to hang on to it for a few days and see if anyone reports it missing.

Anways, if I take this to Verizon, can they find the owner? Or should I just toss it?

Called Verizon, said if it is passcode locked, nothing they can do. Can I see this thing I wonder? Not sure how to find the owner. I could go out and buy a charger for it, but don't really want to do that. I think I have a clue who left it, and they were complete dipshits. Snorting coke and overall spoiled brats. lol

Thats right.
If it was AtT they could figure it out by pulling the SIM card but since Verizon does not have SIM cards that can't be done.

i'd donate it if it came down to it but you really dont know anyone with an iphone 5 to charge it up once to give the owner a chance to call it?

Not the Iphone 5C. I contacted Uber again. Told them the 2 trips I think it may have been. Told them to get in contact with the party and see if anyone is missing a phone. I'm going to do the right thing, but these kids that I think lost it, were a bunch of A-hole rich kids, using racial slurs, and a couple were about the race of my wife, but I kept my mouth shut.

I should take the phone to his dad. The text were coming up on the phone, but I couldn't unlock it. His Dad was texting be safe, and have fun. All while they were snorting coke. 22yrs old. I can understand partying a bit, but one guy was way out of it. Not sure if it's that partys phone, but I only took 5 trips that night, so most likely it was. They left beer cans in my car and were overall disrespectful to say the least

if they have findmyiphone app on once the phone is up they can track it and block the phone from their itunes account and place a call back number on the screen of the phone

I'll see. I am not going to much out of my way for these assholes. I will do my best to find it. I had found one a few months back. I called his mom. lol, she said, YES, he is missing his phone. HA. The phone was unlocked and made it easier

All new iPhones have the same charger.
Im sure you can ask your next customer to let them borrow there charger for 5 mins while you are driving them to charge it up.
I bet 50% of your customers have a charger.

I hear you. I wouldn't expend much effort on those dudes either. Donate it to good cause if they dont contact uber....

My wife has a 5S, doesn't work.

You'd be suprised. I have several different chargers for my passengers. NONE, carry a charger. lol
