Today we put our 7-0 2* Streak on the line as we have a Cherry Picked 2* Play for today. After rewatching the Reds game, it was a clear loss on our UNDER play as the Reds' bats were on fire. Sometimes teams outperform their projections which is fine as long as it doesn't happen too often. Our play on the Marlins UNDER was clearly lost due to the SHIFTING or lackthereof the Marlins implemented on defense. The Pirates were getting hits in every single hole on the field and even though my debatable TRUE score was 5-3, it still would have been a loss. It was the precise hitting by the Pirates that cost us the winner. Our 1st play on the Rangers UNDER did cash which limited our losses yesterday. Analysis
My system has the Cleveland Indians better by 0.2 runs in this matchup. This will be the 4th straight matchup of this split 4 game series between the Indians and Reds with the Reds pummeling the Indians the last 2 games with a combined score of 17-5. However, Cleveland did get a 7-1 victory in the 1st of this 4 game series. Although the Reds will have a slight pitching advantage in this situation based on my numbers, the Indians should have the better hitting in this situation. I expect the Indians to put up more hits and put themselves in scoring position and have much more scoring opportunities than the Reds. Let's not forget, Bailey allowed 7 runs in under 4 innings aginst the Indians last season with a 2-3 record against them. This will be the Reds' first look against House and I expect a good outing out of House tonight. I certainly feel as though the Indians can get the victory outright to tie up this series, but I'll take the Indians on the Run Line as we look to extend our 7-0 streak to 8-0 on our 2*s!
