Should Tom Watson add Tiger Woods to the Ryder Cup team?

I mean, he says he can't assess his medical information?? Can you take a chance on a guy that could bow out at any point and leave you one guy short? Also, obviously, he is not playing well and given we are going to be big underdogs to the Europeans there is no way you can add him....IMO

no way you take him....I mean, he said he wants to leave it up to Tiger?? how many professional athletes are going to say "no thanks". Especially an EGO maniac like Tiger.

Watson has 3 picks to make, I would think that Keegan Bradley will be one of the picks based on how well he did 2 years ago. Im not sure who else Watson would pick over Woods.

The Ryder Cup isn't a lifetime achievement award. It's a "what have you done for me lately" qualifier. The PGA already puts too much emphasis on one golfer. They need to get away from this and leave Tiger at home. We're not going to win this year anyway. DJ is out. Dufner is questionable, Kuchar is questionable. It's too bad Watson can't recruit a few Aussies and Asians. In all honesty, I would rather see Tom Watson play than Tiger Woods.

I actually like the US Team this year and think they can win it this time around. I would add Bradley and Snedeker and whoever plays well the next few weeks

Only reason to take him is for sandbagging purposes. Play him against Rory because the US is going to lose that match regardless.

And also having Tiger there would add too much of a circus atmosphere to the Ryder. I would rather Watson played it low key by inviting a couple low key players that are rounding into form at the right time. I think it's the only thing that gives the U.S. any chance. I would rather have the ones that are peaking on the team more than the experience factor, which I think is a little overrated.
