Off the strip (but within walking distance to the strip. No casino or club, but very nice to come back and relax to...

I recommend The Platinum, Elara or one of the MGM Signature towers.

As stated, depends on what you're looking for.......for pure elegance and top flight accommodations, I will give you one that is rarely mentioned.

The Four Seasons adjacent to Mandalay Bay

The Wynn and Encore are the nicest IMO.

Plazzo has the worst sportsbook with the Lagasse Stadium. Two drinks and a sandwich will run you $100 at that joint.

I like the Silverton for many reasons. It might be off the beaten path, but they have a wide variety of machines with plenty of comps and promotions every month. Their aquarium will knock your socks off and you can spend plenty of time watching all the fish. Having a Bass Pro Shop within the casino is an added plus and you can use your players club points to purchase items in the BPS.

They also have very good restaurants and a good coffee shop. Twin Creeks Steak house will match up against any gourmet restaurant in town.

I couldn't afford to gamble for more than an hour at Wynn--

Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock works for me.

StevieRay got it. Essentially owners can rent their units out. It is cheaper but you schedule cleaning separate (if u want it) and cant contact hotel for any issues with room.

As several people have already posted without SOME idea what your preferences are it is impossible to give an answer. Absolute elegance four seasons or the Mansion at MGM. Casino and elegance I would say wynn, Venetian Aria bellagio Cosmo caesars probably in that order. However there are a dozen criteria that change things, dining options? MGM is now a contender, great pool? Mandalay Bay is now in play. Best sports book options LVH can get in the mix. Etc etc etc
