This is hilarious. Obama clearly has little interest in the job he campaigned for and now the Dems are whining:

WASHINGTON — The meeting in the Oval Office in late June was called to give President Obama and the four top members of Congress a chance to discuss the unraveling situation in Iraq.

But Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader, wanted to press another point.

With Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader, sitting a few feet away, Mr. Reid complained that Senate Republicans were spitefully blocking the confirmation of dozens of Mr. Obama’s nominees to serve as ambassadors. He expected that the president would back him up and urge Mr. McConnell to relent.

Mr. Obama quickly dismissed the matter.

You and Mitch work it out,” Mr. Obama said coolly, cutting off any discussion.

Mr. Reid seethed quietly for the rest of the meeting, according to four separate accounts provided by people who spoke with him about it. After his return to the Capitol that afternoon, Mr. Reid told other senators and his staff members that he was astonished by how disengaged the president seemed.

The affirmative action hire isn't doing so well.

Shocker.

what is striking now is the way prominent Democrats’ views of Mr. Obama’s shortcomings are spilling out into public, and how resigned many seem that the relationship will never improve. In private meetings, Mr. Reid’s chief of staff, David Krone, has voiced regular dismay to lawmakers and top aides about White House operations and competency across a range of issues, according to several Democrats on Capitol Hill.

[h=1]House Democrats can’t figure out why Obama won’t talk to them[/h]
“It's hard for us to fathom; I mean, is it just lack of full staffing and resources? [Is it] professional commitment? Is it a disdain for the legislative branch? I mean, what is it?” asked Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.). “People like me want to be allies — I mean, I am an ally. So work with us, reach out to us; you know, we're not the enemy.”

Obama, who ran in 2008 as a healer, has apparently given up on even trying.

Obama isn't a Washington Insider, never was a Washington Insider, so now he's getting lambasted for not being a Washington Insider, and playing the usual Washington Insider games? He abhors playing the Political schmooze game, so he doesn't do it. And it angers Political hacks like Harry Reid. Good. When someone runs as an outsider, it's good that he actually remains an outsider.

Laugh out loud funny.

Um, nobody is criticizing Obama for not being a "Washington Insider" He's being criticized for not doing his job and a stunning level of incompetence.

See stupid, leadership is part of the President's job and he is exhibiting none of it.

But of course you're just here to tell fantastic lies in order to justify silly and stupid political beliefs you hold. Your lies are pathetic.

Obama is not a Washington Insider, he’s a Chicago Insider.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.

And he has an agenda and anyone who gets in the way be damned. Why Dem's have clung to his apron as long as they have is amazing. Obama is a ship with no anchor, it just floats around without any sails. Reid is a joke, always was, always will be. If someone like him is beginning to see the light it just shows how far Obama's zipper is down. In golfing terms Obama is a walking talking Bogie.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) has thrown in the towel in South Dakota, telling reporters on Monday that Democratic candidate Rick Weiland is “going to lose.”
“We are going to lose in South Dakota, more than likely,” Reid said.
Weiland trails Republican Mike Rounds in the state by nearly 15 points, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls in the state.

Good analogy. Another one would be, useless.

The NYT doing their best to obfuscate how weird Obama is for faking outrage about ISIS and then going golfing

[h=1]A Terrorist Horror, Then Golf: Incongruity Fuels Obama Critics[/h]
Presidents learn to wall off their feelings and compartmentalize their lives. They deal in death one moment and seek mental and physical relief the next. To make coldhearted decisions in the best interest of the country and manage the burdens of perhaps the most stressful job on the planet, current and former White House officials said, a president must guard against becoming consumed by the emotions of the situations they confront.

[h=1]‘Disconnected Obama’ needs to change conversation to help party in midterms[/h]
CORRECTION_Obama_Vacation-0a897-5683.jpg

What everyone outside Obama’s inner circle wonders is whether the president is truly committed to making that case in a sustained and forceful way in the weeks before the elections. Only one man knows the answer — and he’s not saying at the moment.
