I really struggled with this play and I don't know why......both teams emptied the bullpens last night and it is not like they were shutting people down, they were leaving the based loaded every inning, both of them. So.....the horrible bullpens are spent and here we are at 11 AM the following day. Now what? That's the struggle for me.....if Eovaldi is on he can go 7, even 8 innings. And he's started out August as strong as he's been all year. Martinez is consistently a dumpster fire with no control, in many cases he hits 100 pitches by 5 innings....meaning the Marlins are guaranteed to get into the Ranger's bullpen for almost half the game unless Martinez does something he hasn't done much all year....find the plate. For me it all came down to this for me Eovaldi throws a home run pitch every 14 innings, Martinez every 6 innings. I like the Over and could get it at 7.5 this morning, but I'm playing Miami -172 for 2 units, with more statistical leans to the home team that needs to keep winning......

I'm against you on this play but that certainly doesn't mean I'll win. You are correct Martinez is just bad but he is from Miami and is coming home to pitch so I think we'll see him produce at a higher rate than normal. Texas still has a couple of good players and still wins about 1 in 4 games so I think this is the spot for them with the nice + money. GL to you. The Poet

Mikolas was from Florida too.....you could be right. I just can't play the Rangers in this spot for that reason. Both teams were hitting the ball last night so anything could happen. One thing for Texas that worked for them all night was intentionally walking players for match-ups. Will be interesting if they continue that.....it worked last night until they could not do it any longer. gl

Yesterday Miami was in the -130 range at my out when lots of people of cappers played them at higher numbers early. It still won.
The line drop scared me off last nights game. Not missing out again.

Evoladi is over rated had 2 good starts against one of the worst hitting teams in mlb the Reds. Besides that rather underwhelming. Cheers on the OVER

finally put some on the board. next inning will be big as the top of the lineup rolling back around, they need to produce 1-2 and make this a game going into the pens

You can't hit them all....hate the dramatic loser ending, at least Over hit was right about that. I did play one that I tailed here but I will not post the results until after its over......not my play. But many of you like it.
