The baseball HOF is it's own entity, they go by the sportswriters who ALL hold grudges and don't let players in right away even though they deserve it.
Sportswriters for the most part suck donkey balls. If I was a player I wouldn't give two shits if I was in our not. You get paid for being great. All those guys got paid big time.

If in your Senior year in High School a teacher who wants to look good let's you cheat on every test, are you going to?
I expect a large # of the people on this forum to say yes, but I wouldn't.
Say that "A" that you received allowed you to make The National Honor Society, how would you feel about taking that award with your family and children looking on 5 years after graduation?
I wouldn't be able to accept it.....but then again I wouldn't have cheated on every test to excel in the first place.

Get suspended, comeback and hit the ball 20 miles or pitch until you are 50, get suspended, rinse and repeat for all I care and I might even be in awe of what you do ...... put a syringe or * beside your stats for all eternity BUT but when it comes getting into the HOL ... not a chance in hell. NEVER!
Let's get this straight......they cheat to excel, they are rewarded with insane amounts of money, they extend their careers, accept all of the accolades, they lie about all of this, then they want us to reward them with a permanent place in the MLB Hall of Fame ?
