2014 Roddfather College Football Tracking Thread

Great to have football back. Ms. Outhouse and I have traveled the world (and the USA) much of the Spring/Summer, but now it's Las Vegas and football time. I'm back to help out as I track the Roddfather in his quest to make amends for some poor recent performances.

This thread is for TRACKING purposes, and for those to make constructive comments or fix my numbers when my math is off, as it can be after a long day of football. Units will again be 35 max, although I asked Roddfather if he wanted to go 10, 20, 30 and an occasional 40 so that it would be easier to calculate instead of the 15 and 35 stuff. I know I'd appreciate that.

Below are the records for 2013.

As I always say, GOOD LUCK ALL! Follow or fade, have fun. My 128 college previews, Power Ratings, and GOY/week one stuff in weeks ago. 41 future plays and a dozen arb/middle opps are all in. Working under a deadline for the NFL, but it's all good.

Final total: 2013 Regular season college football: 132-147 -923 units. -$92,300.

FINAL 2013 REGULAR SEASON NFL: 105-116 -693 units (-$69,300).

FINAL 2013 BOWL TOTALS: 31-16 +469 units ($46,900).

Final 2013 NFL playoff record: 6-8 -114.5 units (or much worse based on Rodd's bet it all SB loss).

Great to see you back "Outhouse"...You are a credit to the Rx Forum......
I truly hope "Ol Roddy" has a winning season....you as well. One has to give him (The Rodfather) credit...he keeps coming back for more after
the pounding he took last year. Perhaps, your "watchdogging" will lend toward money-management on his part which is absolutely necessary when
it comes to sports betting. On the other hand, I suspect "Ol Roddy" can take care of himself. He does keep unit sizes ($) consistent.

Hope so. I did send him my complete 52 page college preview, Power #'s, and spread information for a reference. My work is from July 15th to August 15th in CFA. That makes the in-season handicapping easier, at least from an adjustment and surprise standpoint. Want to win at college football? Study, find an edge, stay true to what YOU are good at, don't bet on emotion, and of course money management.

It's all up to Rodd now.

Got to say I love having no football for a few months, but by this time of year, I need it!

I'm back from 3rd and final trip to LV pre-season (will return late Sept, early Nov). They are holding some $$$ of mine, temporarily of course (.....). Ended CFA with 44 season win totals and 33 GOY.

Not a good Sunday. Note to all 'cappers: Search for value. Read Pinnacle's article on sharp vs. square betting if you can't figure this out. In a nutshell, sharp players recognize line movement, square players do not. Utah St was a 6.5 dog, and the SMU total was 72/73 earlier. It's quite alright to place bets on game day, but don't blow the value.

Rodd goes 0-2, -77 units.
