Miguel Gonzalez willremain in top form as he’s coming off a complete game shutout of the Reds. He’sallowed a total of only 3 runs in his last 22 1/3 innings. Gonzalez also hashad good success against the Red Sox, posting a 3-0 career record against them.<o></o>
The Red Sox continue to play poor baseball, losing 15 oftheir last 20 games at home. The entire starting rotation has pitched terribly,and that’s not likely to change with Joe Kelly on the hill. Kelly is yourtypical average starter who can eat up some innings and allow 3+ runs. Againstan offense like the O’s he’ll get banged around.
