Vegas sports books were swimming in money after the early games on Sunday and overall the Vegas books had a monster Week #1. One of my friends who still works in the trenches of a Vegas Sports book told me that it was the ‘Best opening day of the NFL he has ever seen’. Which is very rare because this Vegas Sports book executive has been in the industry for over 15 years.

Vegas won big because the dogs ruled. Joe Public will bet the favorite in most instances, takes balls to bet the dog.

The Bengals will put up some points at home

The Defense :think2: the Dline and backers are solid it's the secondary that needs help in todays league
Ravens left a lot of plays on the field with drops and bad throws

The line and backers can get to the QB to offset some of the secondary issues

the 2 CBs they drafted in the last 2 years Dre and Darqueze need to stay healthy

CINN can stop the run ...but not the pass....in a pool that I have to pick every game I took CINN. but for the money I will pass.

Figured out the difference between what is posted here and at DOCs. AT DOCs in NFL you were down ~ 9.3 units, but with $1k being a unit for you on here it does not represent the same value and you can say you were only down ~3.7 or whatever it is.

Why dont you bet the same unit level to promote others to play?

Last year at at. DOCs. We put both CFB and NFL together. At the end of the year I was up $720.00
guess you are right last year I should have bet the units...there it's 1-8 units
me it's 1-4 units...I have to bet at my level...would never make a 7-8 unit play at 1k per units
just not my way.

I get it as I dont think one bet is ever worth 5 times more than another bet you are making as there is no the level of confidence on plays can vary that much. I know it's a tout thing to make all units higher and just say they everything is 3 or 4 unit play when essentially they are 1 unit plays. But there should be some sort of medium cause if clients bet according to what you posted they are down a lot more than you are betting, its a misreprensation of your value on the play.

Most year if I win with the way I bet VS the units they win also....two times in 10 years that it was diff////. Last year I won with playing
units....but lost in my money...not by much. Because CFB up 9k and was down 9k in NFL. Even VS a small profit with the units.
