Why is it hard to believe? The conference is only concerned with growing their brand. At 1pm yesterday the only game on the Big 10 network was Maryland-WVU. I hope they got the desired ratings out east because no one in the midwest cared. Maybe they can get BYU and Alaska-Anchorage into the conference to gain more exposure. When you hear any Michigan news now, its about how much money they made and nothing about their program.
The Big 10 has ONE win over a top 5 conference, and that was Rutgers beating Wash St. Meanwhile the MAC has beat 3 Big 10 teams. At least they will get the lemmings from Wisc, Iowa, and Mich to Hangover Bowls in Florida vs middle of the road SEC teams and brag about ratings.
