I will be posting my plays for week #5 earlier (Sunday afternoon for the following week) if the opening lines provide me with any plays. Not posting yesterday or earlier this morning cost me 2 plays that had tremendous value based on my projected lines as compared to the opening lines, Tampa Bay (@ Pittsburgh) and NY Giants (@ Washington) both of which have dropped 3 points. The value with those teams is lost due to the early line movement. Both of those sides opened way to high based on public perception and have since dropped and are continuing to drop, especially the NY Giants line. One that also has opened and is currently to high is the Kansas City (vs. New England) line currently holding at +4 and I have already posted them as a play for this week. As I previously stated I look for line value (over valued and under valued sides) throughout the week and as the lines move I will post when value presents itself.

The KC line is down to +3.5 at some books. If your going to make the play I would do it before the line loses any further value.

That way of thinking would be why the books opened the line at +8. Tampa Bay looked bad last week at Atlanta which has influenced the line and public perception and I find great value with the Bucs this week because of that. Notice sharp bettors jumped on the opening number of +8 early and drove it down a full point to +7, now Joe public is pushing the line back up.

Definite value on the squad here. personally I'm scared and can't put my money anywhere near the bucs after getting smoked last week until I see some progression from them. You're clearly much braver than I. I do, however, love the G-Men tonight!

FYI: I will be posting my selections and leans for week 5 on Sunday afternoon/early evening, as soon as the opening lines are released by BetOnline. They are the first book to release lines and they are the book that I use. I mentioned the selections and leans in post #14 were my final card but if there is any significant lines moves that present value on a particular game(s)I wont hesitate to post and wager.
