I will be visiting Jaco in October for the 1st time. Anyone have any recommendations for nightlife or places to eat? I would rather ask here than a lot of these reviews on sites that I just don't believe are real 100% of the time.

Cocal early and Le Loft late. You should have a good time. As far as food goes, if you like sushi, Tsunami is always one of my favorites.

Also if you do happen to get a day with sunshine in October, take a trip to another beach such as Manuel Antonio. Jaco has many things to offer, a nice beach ain't one of them.

Get a hotel room at the Cocal when you are partying there. When I was there with friends we would just take the chicks back there instead of the villa we were staying in. It's easier to negotiate with the chicks if you have a hotel room and don't have to leave to property. Most of the women are looking to make about $300 per day. If you find one you like and want to spend the day with her, offer her the $300 and you can have her for the whole day.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. We are staying at Cocal so I think we should be good. I am definitely going to try Tsunami Sushi after what I am hearing. I saw the reviews online were good but you can never be sure about those. Do any of you guys know about Space Jaco? I read it was from the same people who own Le Loft. I couldn't find out too much information but it seemed pretty interesting.

You can always pop over the Space. It is right beside Tsunami Sushi. Both it and Le Loft start VERY late, really don't get going till 1am. I think Space a little earlier.

Your in a good spot for your agenda. Have a great trip. Be careful after dark in Jaco - goes without saying for any populated place, but just an extra word to the wise.
