Payout question

FYI Bovada's default payment option has changed from fedex to putting it back to a card....

I have been doing well there.....in some cases cashing out to pay my local....but in any event I haven't had to make a deposit in 6+ months and have been able to take a free w/d every month since then and paid the $50 for one other. I didnt see any tracking number for the last w/d I made and it has been more than 10 days so I called to check. Turns out the default is now a back to card option. Problem is that I no longer have the card that I made the deposit with back 6+ months ago so now I am now in a bit of limbo. They said wait a few more business days and to call them if it still doenst show up.

Is it possible to credit $ back to a card you have cancelled/lost? I still have the same overall account with the financial institution but not the same ATM card, etc

time for bitcoin!

I'm glad you posted this, because I requested a $1000 payout from them on 9/18 and I'd been waiting for a fedex tracking# also. After seeing your post I checked, and sure enough there was a $1000 credit on my card.

As far as your cancelled/lost card, I'm not sure how they'll handle it. I will say that despite many who hate bovada, I've been dealing with them for 5 years and never had a problem other than a few slow payouts. They've always paid, so I'm sure you'll get your money one way or another.

Ok thanks tar_heel....I made my request the same day you did.....when did the credit hit your card if I can ask?

They seemed like they would work with me on this when I spoke with them on the phone, so hope you are right. This is also for small 4 figures (I never use round numbers by the way, don't know if that helps, but I always w/d a random amount in case it helps it blend in)...they will add pennies, etc to do this as well but I take it a step further in case it helps (i.e., I w/d amounts like $1,127.22, etc)

I just hope that the fact that I am up on them doesnt make them try to hose me on this one. All of the payouts I received via fed-ex have been pretty timely and my CS experience has been good as well so far, so I think it will work out. I do wish they would have made it more clear that the default method had changed.

I misspoke earlier. I made the request on 9/14 and my card was credited on 9/18. The odd thing is that they still have "check by courier" as an option, so it seems like they would just fed-ex you one for this time at least, considering your situation.

Thanks buddy. I just spoke with them and it looks like we are going to be good to go. Gave them my new ATM card and they said they should be able to re-route the funds within 48 hours. Pretty solid. They said "we don't want you to every worry about getting your own money"....

I have never made a deposit with this card so interesting that they say they can put funds on it.

If they are crediting back to debit cards this makes Bovada the best book in the business for payouts

limit is $2500 per increment...1 free per month, $50 thereafter

I asked why the default changed since that is what caught me off guard since I no longer had the card I made a deposit with and she said something about they occasionally review accounts to determine eligibility for card payments and found that I was....so maybe not across the board? could be that they dont want to send too many checks to the same person/address? this would be my fourth since 7/1. maybe not though as it sounded like tar_heel was also paid via his card. i will let you know how it shakes out
