the cowboys have won coming from way back and also have gone wire to wire.

they still don't inspire confidence, too much cheering and not enough coaching.

only pete carroll can pull off the rah rah stuff at the nfl level.

Philly is Denver lite, they're great for the highlight reel and fantasy football stats right up until they play a physical defense.

Nick Foles is overrated
RG3 is way better than Kirk Cousins
Teddy B is the real deal
Whenever people talk about tom coughin getting fired they win the super bowl
Titans suck
Saints are pathetic

That Marrone and Rex are gonna be gone at the end of the year. Cowboys look like the biggest surprise thus far. I think the Bengals are very underrated but the problem is that I don't trust Marvin Lewis EVER in a big spot come playoff time.

Falcons still can't win on the road. Suddenly, NYG -2.5 looks attractive.

Im learning that the fine line between success and failure in the NFL is so razor thin.
Part of the issue is a 16 game sample.

The other issue is the difference from team 5 to team 25 is so small that lucky bounces and good game plans make the difference in winning and losing.

There is no other sport like NFL football.

Seriously outside of the very elite top 4.
And the very very bottom of the league there is not much difference.

This is why I enjoy NFL football.
This is why I can't get into the NBA.

Its is amazing the transformations both good and bad a team can have from one year to the next.

I remember seeing the worst D in NFL history in 2012 totally transform into one of the best D's in the entire NFL in 2013.
Then in 2014 I see that same exact defense with the addition of the most expensive safety in NFL history start to regress back to the same way they were in 2012.

Then you see Dallas who almost had the worst D in NFL history last season come back this year without their best player on D from the year before and a completely banged up secondary and hold the Saints to their lowest halftime score in almost 10 years.

How can you explain this stuff?
Its amazing.

I know this, if you don't have a team that can play some kind of defense, your not going to win playoff games, assuming you even get there.. So for me at this time, these are the only serious contenders to win this thing..

Seattle
SF ( if they get there shit together )
Green Bay ( they make just enough defensive plays)
I would give AZ a chance but Palmer is not a SB QB

Cincy ( most talented team outside of Seattle & a very good defensive team )
Denver ( enough defensively but Peyton is becoming a postseason liability )
San Diego ( sleeper, but they can't afford to many more injuries )
Indy ( barely enough defense )
NE ( will be very good defensively by playoffs if Brady survives )
