The Largest Online Database for Researching and Rating Handicappers

Cappersfile is a common grounds for categorizing and identifying the truthful/good handicappers from the dishonest/bad handicappers. Over 2000 Cappersfiles can be found on our website all graded with an A through F rating, with the list continuously growing. The internet is a great tool for obtaining information; unfortunately, information can be posted and sold even if it is neither truthful nor accurate – Capperfile wants this to change!

Three Search Methods:
Cappersfile includes three methods for identifying which handicapper will best suit your needs.

Recommended Cappers: Cappersfile.comhas identified handicappers that have a minimum of “A” or “B” Cappersfile rating, and has personally experienced excellent customer service including expedited communications with these handicappers.

Browse function: allows for you to narrow your selection of handicappers by picking which options you prefer your handicapper to contain. You can narrow results by grade, free picks, guarantees, etc.

Search function: is available to see the grade given by Cappersfile, if a handicapper or handicapping website is already in mind.




Handicapper Grading:
Grades for each Cappersfile are derived from an established criteria set including: 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party monitoring for record validity, guarantee offerings, domain longevity, active posting of results and archiving picks history.

Grades are given to handicappers on a scale of A, B, C, D and F.
A and B level cappers meet most, if not all, milestones that Cappersfile has identified to be considered a trustworthy handicapper.

C level cappers are not considered to be untrustworthy because they so contain some of the milestones that Cappersfile identifies as a trustworthy handicapper.

D and F level handicappers do not present their information as anticipated by Cappersfile.

Handicappers cannot buy their grade from Cappersfile, they must earn it!

Look at the 77 average speed fig. This nice horse has shown us some ability in the past, just look at the 77 avg class ranking. Should play well here. SAMMY SAVANNAH - Gelding and trainer go together like The Smothers Brothers. They finish in the money 67 percent of their races. AMAZIDA - That 71 speed rating clocked in the most recent contest puts this nice horse in the mix in this race. Substantial winning scores over time for this driver/handler team. This nice horse is an obvious choice.

PRYCE'S POSSE - Is a solid contender based on figs put up recently under today's conditions. CUTTY SHARK - With a formidable ROI of +65 this conditioner has shown decent results with entries running at this distance and surface. With one of the top jocks in terms of returns at the window, don't count this gelding out.

CARTER'S PRIDE - This gelding faced open company last time out. Moving into a restricted state bred today. Is well worth a look. This jockey and conditioner have a favorable return on investment when they are put together. Ray drops him down to this class level. You don't need too much more handicapping knowledge to believe this horse should have a chance to win at this level. I think this gelding is ready to run a good one. He's had enough races around the track since the layoff and should be fit. ONLY I KNOW - Don't often see a positive ROI like +350. This jockey/trainer duo has done well together over the last 12 months. This should be an easier task than what he was asked last time out against 'open' company.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 S S PATRIOT (ML=3/1), #2 KNIGHT LITE (ML=7/2), #6 COBRA KATRINA (ML=4/1),

S S PATRIOT - Going to have a tough go of it with all the early foot in this clash. I cannot play this repeated non-winner. Gets the job done now and then. Run-of-the-mill speed fig last time around the track at Mountaineer at 5 1/2 furlongs. Don't think this less than sharp equine will improve too much in today's race. KNIGHT LITE - This horse likes to be on the board, but doesn't usually win. Keep out of the top spot. Pace is so influential, and this early speedball is going to have a speed duel on his hands. COBRA KATRINA - Not easy to play any thoroughbred in a sprint race at 4/1 when she hasn't shown any positive results in sprints in the last 60 days.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 LETME SERANADE YOU (ML=2/1), #9 HARRISONS CAVE (ML=3/1), #2 FOREVER SMILE (ML=6/1),

LETME SERANADE YOU - 2/1 is not offering enough value for any racer in a sprint of 4 1/2 furlongs that hasn't finished in the money in a short distance event lately. HARRISONS CAVE - This was a live horse, but now this one hasn't been doing anything in the morning. Have to be a little leery with this horse. This gelding ran his greatest speed rating in some time on the dirt in a sprint race. There may be a performance bounce today. FOREVER SMILE - In any race of 4 1/2 furlongs, I like to play a contender that has been looking good in short distance events lately.

Race 1

(3) MACIE RAE has been unbeatable when she stays trotting. (5) BAILEY'S WISH Super Night champ has a huge driver advantage over the top choice. (1) SAY NO MO came up empty last out at Hoosier but could upset should the top choice falter.

Race 2

(3) YOUROLDLOV-ELETTER filly is 0 for her career but needed her last start and raced gamely. (8) OCEAN GIRL raced better at this track and has beaten a similar field. (7) MEGYN HOSTPUR has been racing poorly in her last few but is capable of much better.

Race 3

(6) SIMPLY BURBON freshman filly pacer faces older but put in an excellent first effort on the big track. (5) NITTY GRITTY has shown decent closing ability in a wide-open and evenly matched race. (4) OFFICIAL COURT filly has proven connections and could surprise in her second lifetime start.

Race 4

(9) SUGARSWEET CHERRY nice looking 2-year-old owns the best victory on the year against similar. (7) ALWAYS A JEWEL could get the jump early on the top choice but has raced very evenly late. (6) PRO SHOOTER never had a chance last out from the toughest post but is one of two with a win on the year.

Race 5

(5) BI POLAR ROSE raced huge off a month and should have a big shot at a nice payday with some improvement. (7) PERSAUSIVE LOOK disappointed last out after looking like the cream of the crop. The talented trotter has shown the best closing ability of the bunch from off the pace. (2) JAZZIE MERMAID will look to go coast to coast for the big money; vulnerable late.

Race 6

In a tough race to gauge (7) ARTS-ROCKSTAR picks back up the top driver and just needs a smooth trip for a piece. (2) GET THE TERROR is very inconsistent but was the driver's choice; threat. (3) MARZY BEARZY has yet to put it all together but could jump up any week.

Race 7

In an inexperienced field full of question marks (2) DUNESIDE LOUIE put in a good career debut before some tough racing luck in his last two. The lightly raced gelding has plenty of room to improve on the big track. (3) REALLY DAVE looks the best on paper but faces older and has lacked stamina late; use caution. (5) PARTY'S GOLD has some upside and is a proven winner.

Race 8

(9) PARKLANE CRYSTAL gets put in for the tag against a much weaker bunch. (7) CASINO COMP is just now rounding into racing shape after a layoff and should be sharper third start back. (4) JOYFUL GAME mare seems to be hit or miss from week to week but a good effort puts her nose on the wire.

Race 9

(5) ACT OF MAGIC has been a force at this level and does her best work at this track. (3) HOTMONES has won the most money in the field on the year and is racing better than her lines indicate. (4) SUN DREAM is having a tough year but could hit the board with a smooth trip.
