Ehh not like all that stuff is in place because it is 1 guys idea. They all liked it...

I agree it is stupid. What's even more stupid is they don't rig it to let the Sox or Yanks in, who is gonna wanna watch the A's and Royals!

Agree. It puts the wild card winners at a disadvantage because they have to burn a pitcher in the one game playoff. This is the only way to make the expanded playoffs fair to the division winners.

Atleast let them play a best of 3 to get in the playoffs then or something though.

To play everyday for 6 months and it comes down to 1 day just makes the sport with the most variance even more random.

I do agree from a dollars and entertainment perspective it makes a lot of sense though.
