Wonderful as always. They didn't take my computer which is nice since I can still communicate with the degenerates on this board. So far a few watches missing, some jewelwry and of course some 3 games worth of Yankee tickets. I hope the motherfu.ker sits in my seats so I can find him and stab him.(Luckily they missed 2 gs in cash I had hidden.

Anyone else been robbed?

I am sorry to hear. I assume many here have been robbed. It is sad. I am glad for your safety though.

when i lived in the city (lincoln park) my roomates and i were robbed. i always heard it happens from 9-5..when everyone is working. but, these ballsy bastards did on a weeknight at like 7:00. we had just moved in and all my roomates were out. i came home from work late and stopped at the grocery store. i am walking up to the door and i see its open. i think "score, i dont have to put the groceries down". i walk in and everything is missing from the entertainment center...the tv, vcr, c/d's, etc. i dont think too much since we are still in the process of moving in.

i hear someone in the kitchen so i yell out "mike, where are all the c/ds?" the next sound i heard was glass breaking. i walk back and see the window on the backdoor smashed (it was this old school 1950's door that locked from the inside and for some reason the key was not in the lock). i walk over and look out what used to be the window and see two black guys running down the alley with garbage bags full of our stuff and one black guy riding my mountain bike.

not good.

I was robbed once, it turned out to be my ex-girlfriends brother (who was a friend of mine)...little peckerhead...I accused him of it and of course he denied it, he shows up a my house 5 minutes later wanting to fight me...I broke his jaw and his finger then drove him to the emergency room...still not 100% sure at the time that he did it....

I get home early that morning (as this happened late at night) and found all the evidence I needed to prosecute him (which I didn't )...he never acted the same to me after that...(this was in 1989) He stole like a grand from me, which was about 1/5th of my life savings at the time...little rat bastard

Sorry to hear about that, Tree. Just be glad he ran off with a few replacables, and he wasn't some sicko killer lying in wait for you to return home.
Maybe he's one of those dumb criminals that loves the Yanks and shows up at the game.

He tricked me...he called me early that day and asked if I was working that night, i worked in a deli back then and didn't get off til like 11 pm....I called another friend of mine and told him what had happened and he told me he saw the guy in my neighborhood earlier (he lived pretty far away) I put 2+2 together from the earlier conversation and called him....and his response pretty much gave it away when he came flying over my house defending himself...he got up in my face and I shoved him back the jacked him with a left hook...LOL- he tried to block the punch and ended up with a pinky finger that made a left turn (nasty looking)

Whoever did it knew my Doberman was a friendly dog, obvious it was an inside job...he gave himself away.

plus I probably only had 18 inch arms of cast iron then lol...:suomi:

Could very well link the crime back to those seats... criminals have ways of getting caught , not the sharpest tools...I would definately be checking those Yankee seats VT

yep, chances are he'll try to sell them to some unsuspecting soul. The person who buys those tix could be the key to solving the crime, they'll also be fingerprints on those tix. If this guy has a record, they can match up the prints pretty easily.

Hawkins County authorities say they got a telephone tip that a burglary was about to come down. It came from the would-be burglars.

Early Friday morning, the 911 center in Rogersville got a call on which dispatchers could hear two men talking and details emerged about a plan to burglarize a unit at the Clayton mobile home dealership.

Because it was April first, police thought it might be a prank, but four deputies staked out the dealership.

When the men came out of a mobile home with a refrigerator, police descended on them, sending them running. One was caught in a nearby creek, the other in a thicket.

Police arrested 29-year-old Jason Anthony Arnold and 38-year-old James Keith Benton, both of Church Hill.

Sheriff's Detective Eve Jackson says Arnold's cell phone was in his jeans pocket and the numeral "9" got accidentally pushed and held, automatically dialing 911. Dispatchers heard everything they said from then on.

Police found the cell phone in the creek.

Criminals can be so stupid. Like using the cell phone of their murdered victim. No doubt they will sell the NYY tickets to a friend and that will get them caught.

The crazy thing about this is that my father has actual photo copies of the tickets because he uses them for his business. Thus I can give the cops exactly that. This was not a hardened criminal for sure. He left my ipod for God's Sake.
