can not believe this has not been mentioned here.

from SBR,

10.11.2007 (11:10 PM CST)
Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D+) confiscates winnings made from correlated parlay bets dating back over one month. SBR is currently investigating complaints submitted by four players who were informed via email that thousands would be deducted from their balances because winnings derived from parlays where the legs of the parlay are "linked." Wagering on Over the total score and the Underdog spread would be an example of a correlated 2-team parlay. Some sportsbooks use their software to prohibit these types of wagers. SBR is also investigating a separate claim made by a player who states that over $80,000 was confiscated because he utlized different sportsbook websites within the Sportsbook.com family (Jazette ltd Group) of sportsbooks. This has been allowed and often encouraged by the different brands in the past. SBR will list updates for all Sportsbook.com complaints ranging from instances of incorrectly graded wagers to missing balances from sportsbook brands that defected from the Sportsbook.com operation to other white label services.

Need to see the books side to form an opinion.

All I see is "players claim" and "players claim". Many players would claim anything if it meant getting money.

what a nightmare. you wins some parleys in september that were credited to your account and then over a month later the funds have been confiscated. this is outrages and outright thievery.

Add me to the list of those ripped off. They confiscated $9014.56 from my account. And they lowered my parlay limits to $1. I'll send you a copy of my email, Bill. Time to lower their rating to at least D- (I'd say F, but they are paying what they "think" they owe to others even if it takes almost 3 weeks).

Now I feel even more square (if that's possible) as I always thought it was underdog with the under to be correlated.

It is dog and under or fav and over, that is stated wrong in the SBR release.

its not a bonus scheme its outright theft from correlated parlays

They took it for years, offered no total on some games with high spreads before. They need to have software reject it, if they don't want the bet, like most other books do.

relax. One side has been posted. There is always more to the story.

It's pretty clear, they cancelled all the plays ( winners and losers), not sure at what point they deem it too correlated, though.

The peoples Mod but still a mod....:sad3:

Funny how you never hear these stories about some books and others you hear them all to often.

Why would players report something and try to get help if they did something wrong.Just cant see what would be the purpose of that but I guess there could be a reason.

I'm not taking the books side, but I can't form an opinion without hearing the managments statement.
